...worked in both small and large research agencies
Public (incl. range of demographic/ethnic groups)
Children and young people (ages 5-21)
I began my research career in 1999, having previously been a Maths teacher. Starting in a small agency enabled me to gain experience in both qualitative and quantitative research simultaneously. I am therefore not only highly skilled in using each method but also in effectively integrating them within mixed method programmes, creating the best synergy and thereby resulting in a research programme of the highest quality.
My main specialisms are in Education and communications - my wealth of experience and knowledge of the education sector means that I:
know what methods to use
know what questions to ask to maximise insights
know how to turn these insights into actions
can also offer education consultancy.
EdComs: permanent for five years
National Schools Partnership:
GfK NOP: one year fixed term contract/ad hoc projects (page100)
Business/Enterprise: 2 years in small North East agency
Arts/Culture: 2 years in small Arts marketing agency
Over the years I have....
...led many different kinds of research projects within the public, charity and private sectors
...researched a range of different audiences
I am also very experienced in Employee research, Health communications, Community, Housing, Financial capability, Business/Enterprise and the Arts.
